The 1 mile What’s Cooking Contest!
Chilly Bird has been cooking up some interesting things along the 1 mile “Chili Chase” course! LOOK for 3 chili pots
along the way and REMEMBER what you
spy in each of those pots - and in what order! After you finish, stop by the “Chili Chase” What’s Cooking table to fill out a contest slip. One winner will be drawn from the correct entries for a fun and fabulous What’s Cooking prize! Be sure to stick around for the drawing during the awards ceremony at lunch in the cafeteria.
There are two water stations along the route and the 8K course is partially open to limited traffic.
Please be mindful of traffic, stay to the right side of the road as much as possible and do not run more than two (2) abreast if you can help it. Avoid the middle of the road and run in the direction of traffic.
Police will be stationed at all major intersections and will limit traffic entering the race course. Volunteers will be at all other intersections. In case of emergency during the race, please notify the nearest volunteer and call 911.
